Since Havard Consulting was formed in 1986 I have had the opportunity of working with a large number of clients in the public and private sectors.

Through listening hard to what they've said about what I bring to clients and their organisations I now focus on:

  • HR Strategy - using instruments developed by Havard Consulting, HR Balanced Scorecard and other frameworks to focus your HR strategy development and implementation.
  • Leadership and Management Development - one-to-one director/executive solution-centred coaching, development needs analyses, designing and running tailored programmes, using diagnostic instruments including 360 feedback on Emotional Intelligence, leadership style and work group climate generated by the manager and leader.
  • Organisation Development - organisation climate and culture audits, change management, facilitating effective mergers, job and team design, restructuring, creative use of the Excellence Model and Balanced Scorecard, making strategic appointments to your top team, motivation management. We support you to deal with the intricacy of linking the various activities you could undertake to move your organisation forward.
  • Performance Management - using the approach to performance management and appraisal design in Bob Havard's book 'Performance Appraisals' - developing key performance management processes, appraisal systems and 180 and 360 feedback. The emphasis is on performance management and appraisal processes that really contribute and avoiding energy draining rituals.
  • Team development - helping teams to get their act together and creating high performing teams using Havard Consulting's 'STAR?' framework and Margerison-McCann's Team Management Systems, away days and retreats, on-site process consultation and facilitation. We help new teams form, energise your existing teams and work with teams who need to accommodate new members and to work well with other teams.
  • People due diligence - delivered through Havard Consulting's Company Capability Check (3C). We provide a significant insight into your organisation's current approach to leading and managing and the extent to which people and teams work together in the organisation's interests. This is invaluable to the current leadership and a powerful tool for informing acquisition/merger decisions and related negotiations.
